Drop EP (PROMO)

CoOp Presents are proud to bring you a brand new EP from Mitch von Arx entitled 'Drop'.

Following on from his firing 'Stereograms' EP for us last Summer, and a big remix of 'Welcome' for Oliver Night, we have a new 5-track EP of Mitch's delectable take on bruk.

Mitch says "with Stereograms I was excited to contribute to the bruk sound and community, and I wanted to keep that momentum by sketching some new ideas alongside the previous EP."

Mitch's first foray into the CoOp Presents camp came with the afore-mentioned remix of Oliver Night's track 'Welcome', which had support from house heroes such as Honey Dijon & Luke Solomon amongst others. On this new EP, the duo collaborate again with two versions of the track 'We Drop'.

Mitch explains "Oliver originally sang to the house version of 'We Drop', but I tentatively dropped his vocals onto a rough bruk loop I'd made and that second version pretty much wrote itself. He sounds absolutely ace, I'm really pleased with how it unfolded!"

The Swiss-British producer relocated from London to Lisbon, where he has continued crafting his sound. Expanding upon the heady vibes he first displayed on his 2018 album for Project Mooncircle, his club-focused output is fast making him a name to be reckoned with.

Building upon his unique hybrid of bruk riddims and house flavours, this is another brilliant collection of vibrant dancefloor heat, complete with wavy synths and vocal chops.
