In House (feat. dochi)

CoOp Presents are pleased to bring you the 4th installment in their One-Shots series.

This time round we invite Marvin Jupiter into the fold with his debut release for the label, 'In House'.

Marvin Jupiter is a 24 year old musician, producer & DJ from North West London. Son of legendary late West London producer / DJ, Phil Asher (aka Phlash), he proudly carries on the legacy of making dance music with rich production inspired by funk, soul and jazz. Remaining an independent artist, he's signed to his own label New Generation Creation (NGC), after dropping his first release with 2000 Black back in 2019.

'In House' also features dochi on the vocals; a London native that brings a positive message and vibrant energy to the track. He's a member of the Brighter Days Family (along with the likes of Reek0 who appeared on a recent release for CoOp Presents). A singer, rapper and songwriter, he's featured on productions by artists like Izco and Osquello, as well as releasing his own mixtape, 'aMen'.

Drawing from many sources of inspiration, this track is heavily influenced by the sounds of bruk. Using break samples and various other vocal chops, the sound is authentic to Jupiter. He continues to venture into the theme of analogue and digital based productions, using Rhodes 88 and Juno-106 keyboards, continually evolving his own unique style.
